MOOC Module 2 Collaborative Inquiry

Cite strong and thorough textual evidence to support analysis of what the text says explicitly as well as inferences drawn from the text."

This will most likely be our school-wide literacy student learning objective. According to the STAR assessment, less than half the tenth graders are able to draw textual evidence from their reading.

My SLO for the library is to have tenth graders use textual evidence, using multiple text formats, to figure out how to determine website credibility. I decided to use this as a basis for my collaborative inquiry badge project.

The rubric for the second part of the project will be based on the work the students do on the first part. The rubric at the bottom of the notes is the basic idea for the kinds of skills the students will display.
